NEELAN PATEL (PITA), the obstinate Indian American father of AMISHA, insists his daughter marry the rich but foolish RAKISH LAGHARI. But AMISHA loves JUAN ARAVALO, a Mexican American boy. Soon illusion and reality, past and present, serious and absurd all mix when the young lovers escape to a New Mexico ghost town commune. They are pursued by her parents, RAKISH and a motley crew of amateur sleuths-cum-videographers.
