Objective

To find and bring recognition to promising screenwriters, and pursue production development for their quality motion picture scripts. All entries receive numerical judging feedback in seven skill categories.

Notification: Finalists in late August, Winners in October

Rules

Unproduced screenplays of all genres, between 85 and 135 pages, written in English and in standard script format, are eligible. For details visit our website or send an SASE. Finalist judges are members of one or more Hollywood professional organizations such as the DGA, the WGA, The PGA, or, they're licensed literary agents.

Awards

First Place receives $3,000, Final Draft scriptwriting software, Hollywood Symposium promotion, Writers' Script Network placement, one year subscription to Who's Buying What; Second Place receives $500, Hollywood Symposium promotion, Writers' Script Network placement, one year subscription to Who's Buying What; Third Place receives $200, Hollywood Symposium promotion, Writers' Script Network placement, one year subscription to Who's Buying What. Honorable Mentions will also be announced.
