Objective
Write a short 8-10 page script in 72 hours! The Winning script will be produced in September 2014 and premiere at 72 Film Fest 2014 in October.
Rules
Each writer will receive randomly generated criteria on Thursday 6/19/2014 around 9pm EST. Criteria will be posted on 72Fest.com and 72ScriptFest.com. Writers will then have 72 hours to write their screenplay and then submit on Sunday 6/22/14 by 9pm EST.
Criteria may consist of things like genres, settings, time periods, and other creative elements. Each writer will get their own set of criteria.
Once a winner is selected, the winner will be able to pick from a pool of filmmakers (previous 72 Film Fest winners and finalists) to adapt their screenplay into a short film. The teams will get a budget and access to a state of the art Red Epic Camera (sponsored by Archai Media) to produce the best possible film from the winning screenplay. The film will premiere at 72 Film Fest in October 2014.
Awards
$250 Cash Prize to Winner.
Winning Script will be produced and premiere in October 2014 at 72 Film Fest.
4 Tickets to the 72 Film Fest premiere of the film.
