Objective

To ensure that writers with unique and fresh ideas, who think "outside the box" get a chance for exposure.

Rules

1. Screenplays must not have been previously optioned, produced or purchased professionally.
2. All screenplays should be submitted online only and have title, genre, and email address on cover sheet.
3. Screenplay must be original work of applicants(s).
4. Winning screenplay submission written by 2 or more writers require all awards to be divided equally among writers.
5. Screenplay must be in ENGLISH and in standard industry screenplay format. Must be between 90-120 pages, and in .pdf, .doc, or .rtf format.
6. UTE Media Productions is not responsible for lost, stolen, or incorrectly downloaded screenplays during submission.
7. Multiple submissions are accepted, but each submission requires a separate entry form, and fee(s).
8. Judges decisions are final.
9. All entries must be submitted online no later than 11:59 est. on February 28, 2011.
10. All writers must be 18yrs or older to be eligible for the contest.
11. All prize money will be disburse in US Currency. (certified check)

Awards

(1) First place winner will receive $250 cash prize, 3 months promotion of screenplay on UTE Media website.

(1) Second place winner will receive $125 cash prize, 2 months of promotions of screenplay on UTE Media website.

(1) third place winner will receive $75 cash prize.
