FilmMakers Magazine / The Radmin Company Call for Entries

HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA, November 01, 2000 -- Call for submissions, Screenwriting competition. In its quest to make Hollywood more accessible than ever before to all aspiring screenwriters and filmmakers, FilmMakers Magazine continues to form alliances with top decision makers in the film making community.

$5,300 in CASH & PRIZES. Consideration for representation. The Radmin Company in Beverly Hills will read the top 50 scripts. The Top five scripts will be read by The Gersh Agency, Bender-Spink Management, Oak Island Films, The Knight Company, Cindy Cowan Entertainment, Entertech Media Group Inc and IMMI Pictures.

The Radmin Company is a literary management/development company. They manage writers: Leslie Dixon (Mrs. Doubtfire; The Thomas Crown Affair); Todd Alcott (Antz); and Tom Ropelewski (Look Who's Talking Now; The Next Best Thing).

The Gersh Agency, a powerhouse, representing some of the best talent.

Bender-Spink is a management and production company representing up-and-coming writers and directors: Adam Herz (writer, AMERICAN PIE, EASTBOUND AND DOWN, AMERICAN PIE 2); John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (writers, FIGHTING LIKE CATS AND DOGS) and Andrew Gurland (writer/director CHEATERS for New Line Cinema).

Oak Island Film is an independent production company with over 20 feature film credits. Current credit, American Intellectuals, Evolution (greenlighted by DreamWorks) A co-production with Ivan Reitman and Tom pollock.

The Knight Company is a feature film and television Production Company. Credits, THE DREAM TEAM, for Universal/Imagine Pictures; Producer of WINNERS TAKE ALL, for Apollo Pictures; and Executive Producer of HOT DOG…THE MOVIE, released by MGM/UA.
