For 50 bucks these people require a 2 page synopsis for their contest. If they don't like the synopsis, do you think they're going to read the script? Martin

If they ask for bucks, it means they ain't legit.
Can anyone suggest proofreaders that are resonable. I was just quoted 300 bucks for a 108 page MOW.

Anytime people ask for up front money you have to know it's a scam. As writers we are probably the world's most scammed group of people because we are so anxious to get out stuff read.

Several Years ago, I wrote a western, THE OLD COWBOY. I almost got it off the ground with CABIN FEVER PRODUCTIONS, the people who did LONESOME DOVE, however, I didn't have an agent and it fell through the cracks. I've had two coverage reports and both gave it a 'consider.' Now I see Michael Bay wants to do a western. I've written to script 5 agents...nothing. Anybody have any ideas.
