For those of you who know Steve, this is a sad day.

He had been fighting cancer when complictions caused a massive heart attack he couldn't survive.

For any who wish to leave comments, his wife Julie has started a facebook group for those of us he knew online.

I'll miss his terrific sense of humor.

I came back here, this weekend, to scroll through Steve's old posts and reminisce. Man, that guy was funny and talented and kind-hearted and naughty.

Thank you, Steve. We miss you, already.

We will all miss him. He was funny and kind-hearted.

This is really sad.

The moviebytes forum is a small, secluded place, and yet Steve injected so much fun, energy and intellect into it. I can only imagine the impact he had on those closest to him.

It's especially sad because his writing career was gaining so much well-deserved momentum.

You will be missed, Steve.
