Jacksonville Film Festival Announces Screenwriting Competition Winners

The Jacksonville Film Festival added a screenwriting competition to its schedule this year. The awards are aimed at discovering new screenwriting talent and are open to writers worldwide. By the submissions deadline of January 23, 2004, 136 scripts from throughout the U.S., Canada, the Bahamas and Ireland were accepted into competition. The three winners receive prizes with a total value of more than $7,800, a trip to the festival, All-Access Passes and their winning scripts will be submitted to Hollywood producers.
