POWER UP--the organization to promote the visibility and integration of gay women in entertainment--has announced that applications are available for the 5th Annual Filmmaking Grant Program. This year POWER UP will change the format of the grant films from shorts to a Feature Film.
POWER UP has announced their 2003 Filmmaking Grant winners. The top three winning screenplays will be entirely financed and produced by POWER UP and directed by one of the top three Film Grant directing winners this summer.
The non profit organization, POWER UP has announced that the 2003 Filmmaking Grant applications are available on-line at www.power-up.net, after the success of one of the 2002 grant produced films, D E.B.S. becoming an official selection of the 2003 Sundance and Berlin International Film Festivals.
