The overall winners for the 4th Annual Screenwriter's Challenge have been announced. In the first round of the competition, 610 writers were challenged to create original short scripts, no longer than 15 pages, in one week based on a genre and subject assignment. 50 finalists were chosen to advance to the final round to compete for over $13,000 in cash and prizes by writing an original short script in just 24 hours. This year's genre assignment was Sci-Fi and the subject assignment was Trespassing.
