Each entrant will receive feedback on their script. We know what it's like to send out a script and not hear any response. The feedback will briefly explain why the script did or did not advance.
Writers on the Storm is also the only contest where you could get a second or even third chance. How? If you submit the script to www.coverageink.com during the contest period, you're automatically entered in the contest. If your script gets a "consider with reservations" or better (appx. top 10%), your script advances to the quarterfinals ("let it ride.") However, we also give you the option to polish your script and resubmit it before the contest end date (paying a $40 entry fee) theoretically bettering your odds. And you can do this as many times as you want during the contest's duration!
Script can be submitted ONLINE or by MAIL.
Mulitiple entries are accepted, but must have a separate entry form and entry fee for each submission.
Screenplays must be the original work of the author.
No substitutions of new drafts or corrected pages for script entries will be accepted under any circumstances.
Writers On The Storm recommends registering your script(s) with the WGA and/or copyrighting your material with the Library of Congress.
