Though I haven't seen the movie, I'm not surprised something that immature and sophomoric was green lighted. I only hope the dismal box-office of films like that will finally lead to more cinema geared toward adults. On a different note, Steven, how can I find out more about the indie scene in Toronto/Canada? I am a screenwriter and am very interested independent films. It seems to be where most of the challenging and creative film making is today.

A guilty pleasure for me was Harold and Kumar Go to Whitecastle. I felt it was laugh-out-loud funny with some very surreal moments. Number one surreal and seriously funny scene (in my opinion) was the dream sequence where Kumar envisions meeting, dating and marrying the bag of marijuana he finds in the police station. One of many clever lines - Harold: Where's the cheetah; didn't we come here on a cheetah?
