Yeah baby!

Soundz good, but I'm worried about the first 200 cut-off. What if I go on a binge and tune out for a couple days -- I could miss it. How about just limiting it with the 2 loglines per/person?!

Topic: Claire Forlani

Author: Tom Schneider Posted: 11/20/98 08:38 AM

Since you posted on all the boards about Claire I figure you really want to hear a response. Well I didn't see Joe Black yet but I've been a huge fan since her small part in The Rock. She's in my opinion the hottest up & coming actress today. I expect we'll be seeing her for years to come. I'd love to get my next script in her hands.

Topic: Trying to find a collaborator in New York City

I'm on the Jersey side, but also interested in a screenwriters group.

Collaborator for what - to write?

I used INT. because it is still an interior space.

The blurb following the INT or EXT (if u prefer) will really be the informative part.

Topic: SUGGESTIONS WANTED

Author: Tom Schneider Posted: 12/22/98 09:18 PM

So here's the deal:

A producer requested my script after a query. He liked it but had a lot of ideas for a rewrite. I did one and he didn't really like it. Now has more advice and suggestions. How long must this go on? Should I mention the word "option"? Should i just suck it up and hit the keys - and be thankful he's still talking to me? kinda new to the game -what's your take??

Anyone have anything to report about soliciting the new ProdCo Wonder Entertainment listed on this site?

Anyone know the skinny on this ProdCo? They had an ad in scr(i)pt magazine.

Topic: Roman pictures

Author: Tom Schneider Posted: 02/17/99 04:02 PM

I know they requested one of my scripts a few weeks ago. I'm waiting to here word back from them. They're not listed in the HCD vol.34. Other than that I know nada -- how bout you?

Film Roman has a different address than Roman Pictures where I sent my script?!

Topic: Saturn Films

Author: Tom Schneider Posted: 05/05/99 11:31 AM

I queried them over six months ago. After a week of very excited phoine tag I finally spoke to someone who said they just wanted to let me know they would have to pass.

I eas surprused they went thru so much just to tell me since I figured they passed months ago. So rest assured they will get back to you eventually. Good luck.

Dittos on what Tracy has said. If you wait it may take over a year to show it to 2 prodcos.

Topic: When is it time?

Author: Tom Schneider Posted: 11/02/99 03:31 PM

I can't tell you when it's time but I can tell you that just because of one response I wouldn't decide it isn't time. Even if its a masterpiece not everyone is going to recognize it as such.

I'm personally more inclined to spend my money making copies to send to production cmpanies willing to take a look than to contests which are all dubious by nature.

Topic: A waste of popcorn

Author: Tom Schneider Posted: 11/02/99 03:36 PM

Just to add to the list above; I saw Arlington Road last nite and it was worth the price of popcorn too. I even went for the caramel-coated kind!
