Hi,

Just heard the amazing news from www.filmaka.com

I lost but some moviebytes members won --

Congrats to -- W L CHANG C COSTELO A SALEEM T MILES

I know their presentation of their pitch package was "state of the art" and very comprehensive. It was one of the toughest contest out there with a very tight deadline.

Thanks for being a leader in this busines. We look up to you guys.

Hi Collin,

Yes, this is a great accomplishment, you deserve it for being a leader and hard worker. Once again, congrats to Collin and all the winners.

I think filmaka.com is close to the Golden Globe Awards in terms of script pitching/Contests/digital filmmaking...

My pitch package I send to filmaka.com was short, maybe in the future I'll enter something longer with more details.

At the moment I'm developing some comprehensive pitch packages for future contests and pitching.

Colin, is this a good idea? Any pitching advice?

This filmaka.com webpage contests is an incredible place to get exposure. I'm so impressed with their Board members/directors and judges.

This is a contest that really care and respect the applicants.

I hope in the future all Screenwriting Contests would learn from them.

In the future I think all screenwriting contests should have a BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND a list of accomplished judges and a fair voting system, like filmaka.com

This is how a respected PUBLIC COMPANY works and that is why FILMAKA.COM is the best and will positively rock the foundation and treat all the screenwriters and digital filmmakers in this world with respect.

YES, I'M ASKING ALL THE ASPIRING AND UPCOMING SCREENWRITERS OF THE WORLD TO CONVERT PART OR ALL OF THEIR SCRIPT INTO A DIGITAL SHORT OR FEATURE. SAVE UP YOUR MONEY, CREATE A BUDGET -- IT'S POSSIBLE. IT'S NOT EXPENSIVE!!! REMEMBER, SOME OF THIS BEST SCREENWRITERS ARE DIRECTORS AND VICE VERSA. SO IT IS POSSIBLE. LET'S TAKE OURSELVES OUT OF OUR COMFORT ZONE AND DO IT.

We deserve it. We all work hard in this world.

I can't wait to find out about their upcoming pitching and digital filmaking contests.

Good luck to all.

Very Best Regards,

BL
