Yikes, Michael - missed your name (again?) Sorry - so many Moviebyters are making cuts I think for now on I'll just say "congrats everyone!" :)

Congrats...let me guess, you all went to their workshops. Those of us who have day jobs get great feedback but no chance at bluecat which is strange since I took a bronze in Houston last year.

Also spotted Lou Yateem in there, with REINVENTING ETHAN. Very cool to see so many MBer's...
Kudos, one and all!

Teresa,
For what it's worth...I didn't attend one of their workshops...and Crazy Love made the cut.

I've vowed to keep changing the first word of the title until I get somewhere with it. Next it will be Resurrecting Ethan. They didn't like Replacing... very much last year so...
Thanks John.

Congrats, Lou.
I like "Resurrecting..." has a nice ring to it. :)

Jean, you are a kind soul, and I can't believe you remembered me!!!! Thank you. Orlanda, girrrrl, you gonna be hard to beat;0)
At this point, it feels great to make it to quarterfinals, and whatever happens happens... but the money, oh, the money. Maybe we should start a thread called, "if I win the money." What would you do? Would you pay off debt? get a shack in the woods/by the beach/in the city for a few months to hunker down and write? travel?
Best wishes to all!
Flo

p.s. I didn't attend any of the workshops, either. Most of them are offered in every other city besides LA. I took Evan Somers' classes at SMC.

Flo, that shack in the woods sounds fantastic to me, however I'm upgrading to a cabin as I want to at least be halfway civilized with running water and electricity!! Ahhh...we can dream, can't we?! :)

Not so tough, Flo. :-) There's still room for a couple more moviebyters to round out the 10 finalist.
Oh, on the money. LOL I'd hit some film festivals. For sure.
I haven't taken any BlueCat seminars. Actually, I'm just taking my very first screenwriting course right now with Hal Croasmun at Script4Sale. And loving it.
Good luck on the 23rd everyone

Cool!
Can you pop an A there on the end of my name instead of the O, Dorothy. ;-) I'm of the female persuasion.
LOL Putting my first and last name together does it all the time, O to O.

Sorry about the "O" not the "A"...that's what I get for reading without the glasses...
