Topic: Welcome, baby Alexandra Rose Evers!!

Congratulations of a different sort to Irin Evers who welcomed his first baby daughter, Alexandra Rose, born early this morning!

His wife Steph and baby are doing great--Alexandra is absolutely beautiful!

Maybe another writer in the family, Irin? :)

Congratulations! Parenthood is about as close as we can come to divinity. As writers we create and it is rewarding, but nothing is as rewarding to the soul as being a father or a mother. All the best, Irin, to you and yours!

That is wonderful news, Irin. Children are such a joy, especially when you get down to their level and see life through their eyes.

Thanks so much! I just found this posting (been busy of course). Her first words were "Nicholl Fellowship" - just kidding! Seriously - it's been pretty incredible (and yeah - not so much in the sleep department).
