The GRAND PRIZE WINNER RECEIVES $10,000 cash plus development notes, a professionally recorded audio version of their entire screenplay from iScript, a John Truby Genre DVD, a gift certificate to the Writer's Store and more than $1000 in other prizes.
Writers who enter more than three features are entered into a random drawing for a seat in the week-long Champion Lab with Jim Mercurio. If there are more than 50 eligible people, we will give away a second seat: http://www.championscreenwriting.com/testimonials.html
Low Budget Feature Horror Category
The winning script receives $500 cash OR one of the two following: a $1000 option agreement or a $1000 rewrite deal on a micro-budget film plus a host of other prizes. For more information: http://www.championscreenwriting.com/prizes.html
Short Script Category
Enter your shorts (15 pages or less) for a chance at three $500 prizes, including best ''short short category'' (three pages or less), plus development, producing and directing notes, a gift certificate to The Writers Store and a John Truby genre DVD.

It is unprofessional to extend a deadline after the final deadline has passed in the last post.

By the way, that was just my opinion.

That extension and the WAB extension till 8/20 has been on WAB since day 1 and I mentioned them on my newsletter and Facebook.
And I think my admin person and I posted a reminder on several "boards" before midnight last night.

I saw you post it on Facebook, and you posted about the extension at least a couple of times before that as well.

A question for clarification purposes. On the original message, it says enter more than three features and be eligible for the random drawing of a seat in the Lab, but in the blog post on the Champion site, it says three or more gets you into the drawing.
As someone who submitted three scripts yesterday, I'm hopeful it's the latter and not the former.

Hey Gary,
Apparently everywhere except for my one post here, it says more than three. I think I will stick with that. i will send you a copy of Killer Endings as an apology for the mix up. And if you or anyone entered exactly three between now and the wrong post, email me if you want a refund...but I hope it doesn't come to that.
Right now, there are less than 10 people eligible, I believe for the drawing. IT's still a pretty good deal.
Just finished 18-day shoot and our last day was 17 hours. My brain is a bit fried. ;-)
Peace,
Jim
