A: Seemed like a good idea.
Yes, I entered Telluride Independent Film Festival and Key West Film Festival and won best screenplay in both of them. Have won a total of 9 screenplay competitions and film festivals in the past 2 years with 3 screenplays.

Q: Were you given any feedback on your script? If so, did you find the feedback helpful?A: No feedback from this one.
Q: Has your success in this contest helped you market your script? Were you contacted by any agents, managers or producers?A: My successes in contests and film festivals have brought interest to my writing from agents, producers, studios and directors.
Q: What's your background? Have you written any other screenplays or television scripts?A: Written 5 spec features, optioned one, had two agents. Also two shorts and two stage plays.
Totally self taught. My day job is a schooner captain/owner of 65' charter schooner in Key West Florida. Have written illustrated and published books and magazine features.
Working on a 6th screenplay right now.
A: I live in Key West Florida and might consider sailing to Los Angeles.
Q: What's next? Are you working on a new script?A: Yes, a psych thriller called SKETCH ARTIST with co-writer Robin Bradford about a rape victim and a wildly creative artist.
