I've been an international bridge professional for many years...reached my high point in 1995-1996 and then found a more challenging game. Screenwriting. I've written fourteen screenplays. Three are adequate , one is good. The rest await rewrites or burials. I've written one boring bridge book. Had several agents. One manager. Several elapsed options. THE VIRTUES OF VICE (New York Square finalist), UNSPEAKABLE, THE WEDDING DANCE, THE NIGHT THE SKY FELL (Telluride winner), IN YOUR DREAMS! (Nicholl quarter-finalist), REMEMBER JOHNNY ANGEL?, MYTH FOR THE GODS: TO WED A MORTAL (Scriptapalooza semi-finalist, Writer's Digest finalist), GETTING LADE (Good ScriptShark coverage but bad reviews here), THE BODY PARKERS, and CAN YOU KILL ME NOW? (ScriptShark finalist) are some of my favorites. Really enjoyed writing my recent thriller...OUT OF BREATH.
I'm obsessed with writing. From the moment I wake up to the moment I hit the sack. The obsession continues in my dreams. There is no "off-button."
I currentlyly live in Las Vegas. Before that, London and before that Guam. I was raised in Phoenix.
I still play bridge, gamble at video poker, and teach high school to fuel my writing addiction. I call myself a screenwriter, but my mother and her rabbi call me a bum.
