Author Bio: Donna Lisa is an award winning, published writer of screenplays, songs and stories. She specializes in writing for families and children. Her screenplays have received awards and recognition in a variety of competitions, such as, The 2013 International Family Film Festival, The 2013 Screenplay Search, 2012 Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting, The 2012 Worldfest Houston International Film Festival, and many others. Chicago Scriptworks performed a professional reading of Donna's contest winning screenplay, "Kheng Kheng Crocodile." Three of Donna's projects are currently under agreement.

Donna is a columnist on script writing and songwriting for animation for Toon Boom News (Montreal).

Kheng Kheng Crocodile has been consistently listed on Moviebytes.com as the Number One contest-winning screenplay in the Animation Category, and one of the top five in the Family and Action-Adventure Categories. "Toucans of the Amazon" has also been consistently listed as one of the top five contest winning script in the Animation, Family, and Action/Adventure Categories.

Toucan You Can, Donna's CD of humorous, original songs about birds and animals, received twenty two national and international awards, including an iParenting Media Award, and a National Parenting Publications Honor Award. The Songwriters Market featured Donna as their children's songwriter.

Songs from Donna's screenplay, Kheng Kheng Crocodile, were played at The Moondance International Film Festival. Songs, from this screenplay were recognized in The 2012 International Songwriting Contest, The 2011 Dallas Songwriting Contest and many other competitions have honored a variety of Donna's songs.

Donna is the A&R Coordinator and a contributing songwriter, on the soon to be released childrens, compilation album, Playful Journeys to Grow On. This CD will feature a number of well known childrens singer-songwriters such as Raffi and Laurie Berkner.

Donna's song, "Toucan You Can," was included on "Celebrate Earth," a children's CD compilatio that was released on Big Round Records.
