Douglas Strait - Bio
- First became involved in writing at the age of 13 with numerous war stories and one about a fictional pro football team.
- Attended cinema production classes at OSU, later becoming involved in local Community Access television projects, directing numerous television programs.
- Twice served as volunteer judge on national Community Access video awards.
- Co-produced, directed, video taped and edited Shers DanceSport, a half hour show on ballroom dancing.
- Worked as a TV cameraman for Scioto Downs Racetracks closed circuit TV crew. This, along with working with other production companies, Productions East, Video Pro, Dynamic Video Productions and Video Images includes several hundred video productions.
- Production assistant on Victorian Vignettes, a production sponsored by Columbus Junior Jaycees.
- Writing spec screenplays came about from a meeting with Oliver Stone in 1996. At the time of this writing there are a grand total of 28.
- Currently have one short comedy produced by Brainchild Films in Honolulu, HI- Sept. 2006 entitled Who Started It.
- 2009, contracted to write the final draft of a project for Starline Films slated for release in 2010.
