Saga of the Dwarf

A dwarf's plan to save his village lands him in virtual hell but, in order to escape he must depend on a gnome wizard who is literally in hell or join him.

Saga of the Dwarf is similar to “The Hobbit” and “Narnia”. The story is about a dwarf miner, Kandar, who seeks to save his wife and village from the iron grip of Angus, the local merchant tyrant. Kandar's plan to strike it rich pillaging the Catacombs of Merisha and unseat Angus is foiled by a treacherous she demon. Consequently, he is forced to escape a clan of vicious gnolls or become their next meal. On top of that, he must humor a pompous king and dragon duel with an enraged female wizard just to save his skin. Amid all of these difficulties, he must seek the help of a deceased, gnome wizard who calls himself the Wizard of Wizards in order to achieve his goal in a way he never had imagined.

I believe this will draw a wide range of viewers because of the universal appeal of folklore, dwarfs, wizards and dragons with a dash of action and humor.

Author Bio:
I have always been interested in telling stories even in my youth I would make up stories to tell by younger brothers. I also got interested in plays in high school and starred in a couple of them. Molière's “The Doctor In Spite of Himself” and “Smilin' Through” by Jane Cowl and Jane Murfin.

At Idaho State University, I majored in drama and got a B+ in play writing. I was also in the puppeteer club and wrote an original puppet play entitled “The Frog That Roared” which was put on by them.
