LADY JUSTICE

Mary Megan Sullivan, whose sister was killed by a serial killer,is a brilliant lead detective for the Baltimore Task Force Exchange Program, created to solve the most difficult serial killing cases in the Mid-Atlantic states region of the country. Assigned to one of the most brutal cases in a small Virginia college town, she struggles to balance the hatred she carries for those she hunts, a flawed justice system and knowing those who fight monsters in the process can easily become one. In the shocking climax, she must decide whether, or not to take the law into her own hands to tip the scales of justice in her favor to end the killer’s rampage.

Helene Wagner teaches screenwriting at the University of Richmond. She's had five scripts optioned with one cast for CBS. CAA and other top agencies have represented her scripts. She is the Founder and the Director of the Virginia Screenwriters' Forum now in it's 22nd year. Her scripts have won numerous screenplay competitions. After taking a ten-year hiatus to create and run her own company, she decided to re-submit two of her screenplays into competition again.
