Q: What's the title of the script you entered in this contest, and what's it about?

A: Under the Collar is a short script revolving around a couple that meet up and have a confrontation in a small town cafe. It deals with diseases of the mind, aging and undying love.

Q: What made you enter this particular contest? Have you entered any other contests with this script? If so, how did you do?

A: I loved the concept of entering a contest that would take me to the next level - production. The prize for this contest was to be allowed to direct the script with a team of Hollywood professionals.

Q: Were you satisfied with the adminstration of the contest? Did they meet their deadlines? Did you receive all the awards that were promised?

A: Absolutely. It was an excellent exerience. All deadlines were met, and the awards were given as promised.

Q: Were you given any feedback on your script? If so, did you find the feedback helpful?

A: The feedback I received was very detailed, as it came along with the filming.

Q: Has your success in this contest helped you market your script? Were you contacted by any agents, managers or producers?

A: I am presently sending the finished product out to film festivals. As it now has already been produced, I am hoping to use it as a calling card for future jobs.

Q: What's your background? Have you written any other screenplays or television scripts?

A: I have written several other movie and television scripts, and am presently working on a horror feature.

Q: Do you live in Los Angeles? If not, do you have any plans to move there?

A: No I don't...but given the opportunity to work there, I'd be there in a heartbeat.

Q: What's next? Are you working on a new script?

A: Yes, I'm working on a feature length horror which was inspired by my trip to the festival. From there, I'm open to whatever comes along.
