Q: What's the title of the script you entered in this contest, and what's it about?

A: Kidnapping Castro - by Allen Cody Taube

Three ex-special forces marines are hired to kidnap Fidel Castro.

Q: What made you enter this particular contest? Have you entered any other contests with this script? If so, how did you do?

A: It was free. Have won a bunch of contests and film festivals, 9 total with three different screenplays.

Q: Were you satisfied with the adminstration of the contest? Did they meet their deadlines? Did you receive all the awards that were promised?

A: Yes, this contest was great. Got a free subscript for Script magazine, a new Final Draft 6 and the co ordinator went out of his way to submit our scripts to producers and agents. There were 5 winners in this contest.

Q: Were you given any feedback on your script? If so, did you find the feedback helpful?

A: No feedback or coverage. Lots of encouragement.

Q: Has your success in this contest helped you market your script? Were you contacted by any agents, managers or producers?

A: Lots of contact from agents, producers, studios, and directors from successes in comptetions and film festivals.

Q: What's your background? Have you written any other screenplays or television scripts?

A: Self taught, have written 5 scripts, writing a 6th, have optioned one and have had two agents.

Q: Do you live in Los Angeles? If not, do you have any plans to move there?

A: Live in Key West. Might sail to Los Angeles.

Q: What's next? Are you working on a new script?

A: Finishing a new one, a psych thiller called SKETCH ARTIST with co-writer Robin Bradford. Also have several others in the works.
