The Featherstone Council’s Animal Management Officer chases the elusive Alley Cat Patrol of Foxy, Tipper and Bull through the streets. After all, they did steal a child’s doll for a client. It’s what they do, the Alley Cat Patrol – favours for felines, no questions asked, in return for, well anything they need really. As yet another Animal Control Officer quits his job, thanks to the antics of the Alley Cat Patrol, the Mayor gives his unemployable nephew Karl the job, desperate to keep a lid on things a week before they host the National Cat Show competition. Later that night, following the District Cat Show, where, to Ms Helmsley’s utter disgust, Queenie finished Runner-Up again, Queenie is kidnapped. With Ms. Helmsley out of town on business, her butler implores the police to help him find Queenie before she returns. The police have no choice but to cooperate, or they risk losing Ms Helmsley’s continued patronage. Following the receipt of a ransom note, a desk sergeant bumbles about searching for Queenie. He identifies several suspects, all with means, motive and opportunity – the Mayor, National Cat Show competitors and several others desperate for cash. Foxy’s girlfriend, and Queenie’s housemate calls upon Foxy and his gang to find Queenie. The over-confident Foxy assures her the Alley Cat Patrol will deliver, but he overlooks the fact that this is the first time they will be actively tackling humans. It’s a race between Foxy, the police and the general public, keen on the reward to find Queenie. Through anything but her own doing, Queenie leads the Alley Cat Patrol to the pound, across the river to a farm, back to the police station; and finally to a warehouse where she is held captive. The Alley Cat Patrol storm the warehouse to rescue Queenie, but they fail. Foxy is caught in the process. Our villain Karl, has no qualms about dumping Foxy in the river. After the sergeant arrests the wrong suspect, and with Foxy and Queenie’s life on the line, the Alley Cat Patrol and the sergeant team up to outsmart security dogs, confront the unexpected kidnapping mastermind behind it all and rescue Foxy and Queenie in the nick of time. The sergeant receives a commendation and the Alley Cat Patrol are happily back on the street up to their usual antics, hotly pursued by the Featherstone Council’s new Animal Management Officer.
