Q: What's the title of the script you entered in this contest, and what's it about?

A: Kidnapping Castro - Allen Cody Taube

Three ex-special forces marines are hired to kidnap Fidel Castro.

Q: What made you enter this particular contest? Have you entered any other contests with this script? If so, how did you do?

A: Nice indie festiveal in my hometown. Lots of other wins, 9 wins with three screenplays, this one has also won DCinema, and Telluride.

Q: Were you satisfied with the adminstration of the contest? Did they meet their deadlines? Did you receive all the awards that were promised?

A: Yes.

Q: Were you given any feedback on your script? If so, did you find the feedback helpful?

A: The scripts were available for reading by all those attending the festival.

No feedback from the festival itself, no coverage or notes.

Q: Has your success in this contest helped you market your script? Were you contacted by any agents, managers or producers?

A: My successes in winning screenplay competitions and film festivals has helped attract a lot of producers, directors, studios and producers to my projects.

Q: What's your background? Have you written any other screenplays or television scripts?

A: Self taught, have written 5 other spec screenplays and two shorts. Optioned one spec. Have had two agents.

Q: Do you live in Los Angeles? If not, do you have any plans to move there?

A: No, I live in Key West and might consider sailing to Los Angeles.

Q: What's next? Are you working on a new script?

A: Several, right now a psych thriller, SKETCH ARTIST with co-writer, Robin Bradford.
