Objective

BE SCENE - For 4 years now, ACEFEST has been one of the most anticipated annual events on the industry calendar. The American Cinematic Experience goes far beyond film exhibition and into the very most primitive stages of production - writing.

The Great American Screenplay Competition is seeking the best writers from coast to coast and it could be you! With an always impressive roster of judges, a growing bundle of rewards and nearly 55,000+ industry players waiting eagerly to see the winner's work, this is your chance to get your script seen!

Rules

Only U.S. scripts will be considered. By submitting your work, you authorize American Cinematic Experience LLC staff, judges and associates to read any and all provided materials. You acknowledge that your text will never be shared or distributed without your expressed written permission. Text captured from your logline, title and synopsis may be used for promotional and marketing purposes at the discretion of American Cinematic Experience LLC. This may include and is not limited to display on our website, downloadable media, artwork and related text. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Awards

Twenty (20) Semi-Finalists will be chosen in each category. From that pool, ten (10) Finalists will be picked in each category. One (1) Winner will be announced for the contest.

Semi-Finalists receive website recognition and two (2) ACEFEST All-Access Passes. Finalists receive website recognition, program booklet recognition, international press release inclusion and four (4) ACEFEST All-Access Passes. Winner receives prominent website recognition, their own industry inquiry form on acefest.com, significant program booklet recognition w/ logline & contact info, international press release feature and one (1) featured "congratulations" eBlast to 55,000+ filmmakers, writers, producers, ticket buyers and industry professionals.
