Filmarket Hub TV Pilot 2022 Screenwriting Contest

Objective

We are looking for fresh voices and the next great TV series. Our goal is to connect screenwriters with leading executives and key players in the industry.

With $5.000 in cash awards, feedback from leading production companies, an invitation to pitch at our next Pitchbox event and many more benefits, this is a unique opportunity to demonstrate your writing talent and get industry exposure and support.

In August, six semi-finalists will be announced - three of them will go through to the final and then we will announce the winner.

Deadline/Entry Fees

Notification: Semi-finalists announcement August 31. Finalists announcement September 14. Winner announcement September 21

Rules

• Entry fee for each script is 39.99€ until the early deadline on May 19. Thereafter, entry fee is 49.99€ until the final deadline on June 16.
• There is no entry fee for users subscribed to Filmarket Hub’s Full Access.
• All entry fees are non-refundable.
• Substitutions of either corrected pages or new drafts are not allowed. However, you may submit the same script more than once paying its corresponding entry fee.
• There is no limit to the number of scripts you may submit.
• All submissions must be original and the writers must own all rights.
• All ownership rights of the scripts submitted to this contest remain the property of the original right holders.
• Registered copyright for the script is highly recommended.
• All prize monies from the contest may incur taxes. It is the sole responsibility of the winners to check the government legislation in their country of residence regarding taxation on prize money.
