PrintWaveUSA's: Script The Wave

The PrintWaveUSA's Script The Wave writing contest is a creator-first initiative positioned at the intersection of storytelling and production. Designed to spotlight bold, original voices, the contest is a direct extension of PrintWaveUSA’s expanding mission to be the platform for voices to be heard. We are dedicated to developing, producing, and distributing original content to highlight bold voices who are not afraid to make waves.

This contest goes beyond recognition. One winning script will be fully produced by PrintWaveUSA’s Los Angeles–based film team of experienced film crew personnel, transforming a standout screenplay into a completed film. For writers, this is more than a contest—it is a pathway into real production, real distribution, and a tangible screen credit. PrintWaveUSA is investing in storytellers ready to move beyond the page.

All submissions will be reviewed by a curated panel of industry professionals and evaluated based on the following criteria: originality and strength of concept, narrative structure and pacing, clarity and engagement of characters, effectiveness of comedic and inspirational elements, and overall script readiness and presentation.

The judging panel will consist of three to five qualified judges, with official announcements made on February 1. Judges will assess submissions independently and collaboratively to ensure a fair, balanced evaluation process.

All judging decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
