Objective

Sunvale Screenplay Contest was developed to connect undiscovered screenwriters with filmmakers and offer them an opportunity to see their work on the screen!

We are going to our third season and accept features, TV pilots and short screenplays in 5 different categories (Action/Adventure, Horror/thriller, Drama, Comedy, Female screenwriters).

Every entry will be read by a producer.

The Grand Prize Winner will get a demo reel clip (also called proof of concept film) produced based on their screenplay.

Proof of concepts function like a trailer of your screenplay and can be used to sell the screenplay. Many famous movies were produced based on a proof-of-concept film, including Sin City, District 9, and Whiplash. Show More
