We actively push the Semifinalists, Finalists, Runners-Up and Winners for a full year with the intention of creating opportunities for the writers. We are a hands on competition because we feel it is important to continue supporting the top scripts beyond the cash and prizes.

Patrick Andrew O'Connor, the first place winner of the 6th Annual Scriptapalooza Screenwriting Competition was hired by DisneyToon Studios to rewrite one of their major upcoming animated movies.
"It's amazing how far my career has come in the year since I won the Scriptapalooza competition, so hopefully this is the start of a long career in the writing business," says O'Connor.
Last year his swash buckling Romance/Adventure script, "Don Juan", floated to the top of the competition with it's great characters, hilarious story and fun dialogue. O'Connor said he was "very humbled and honored by Scriptapalooza choosing my little script".
O'Connor is also currently working on a script with Joe Farrell of Farrell-Paura Productions.
