John Todd's Madam I'm Adam, winner of the 2009 Scriptapalooza Screenwriting Competition, has been optioned by The Ladd Company. The project is described as Ghost meets The Notebook:
Adam Ward has just lost his wife and
decides to follow his true love into the unknown only to find out she has
already been reincarnated. Since suicides can't reincarnate, Adam is forced
to accept the guidance of a jaded, cynical Spirit Guide named Sebastian, who
has lost all faith in humanity and is determined to prove to Adam just how
pointless life and love really are.
