We actively push the Semifinalists, Finalists, Runners-Up and Winners for a full year with the intention of creating opportunities for the writers. We are a hands on competition because we feel it is important to continue supporting the top scripts beyond the cash and prizes.

Bedbugs, by Colin Costello, a Scriptapalooza 2001 Finalist, was optioned by
bon Mar Entertainment with a purchase price of low six figures. Colin says
"Being a Finalist and a Semi Finalist got it (the script) a lot of attention.
Reaching Semi Finalist status encouraged them (bon Mar Entertainment to
purchase Bedbugs)."
