Objective

Screamfest was formed in order to give filmmakers and writers in the horror/sci-fi genres a venue to have their work showcased to people in the industry. We are very proud that the majority of the films showcased now have distribution.

Deadline/Entry Fees

Expired. Previous Deadline: 05/15/2013

Notification: October 1st

Rules

  • Screenplays can be submitted online at our website or mailing a hard copy with a postmark date of no later than May 15, 2013.
  • Online entrants can complete their application, make their credit card payment and upload a PDF version of their script.
  • Hard copy scripts must be bound with industry standard brads and formatted correctly.
  • Feature film script length should be at least 75 pages and not over 130 (there is no page limit).
  • Please include a paragraph synopsis bound with script after title page.
  • Finalist will be notified by October 1st.
