My name is Aviva Kleiner and I am the head of Marketing at Dreaming Tree Films. Dreaming Tree Films specializes in producing Youth Creative Programs that provide teens with a hands-on experience and allows them to interact with and explore the creative process of filmmaking while learning life-long career skills such as teamwork, responsibility, and confidence. . Our longest running program in Dreaming Tree Films' history, Fresh Films, is currently accepting applications from teens between the ages of 13-18 to be an essential part of one of 30 crew spots in the Fresh Films Fall Break program taking place in Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco this fall! In this program, teens will be replacing the pros in editing, filming, directing, and producing a short film.
On the non-technical side of things, Fresh Films is also currently accepting screenplay submissions for these 6-12 minute Fresh Films. THERE IS NO AGE REQUIREMENT FOR THIS Fresh Films will be selecting THREE screenplays to be produced this fall If selected, screenwriters will work with the Fresh Films professional writing staff to get their script into tip-top shape for production! The theme of the screenplays must be discovery, whatever that means to submitters. Whether it be Columbus discovering America, a story about discovering a mystery, self-discovery, etc.
Fresh Films will be accepting applications and screenplay submissions up until Sept. 13 and no experience is necessary for this program. If you have any further questions, comments or concerns regarding this feel free to e-mail me at marketing@dreamingtreefilms.com

We need a really terrific (award-winning if possible) previously optioned screenwriter, hopefully with some produced movie credentials, for a Holocaust film project. The screenplay will be based on a book by a survivor of ten different internment camps including Auschwitz who lost his entire original family in the Holocaust.
The story is challenging, scarily graphic and contains some mild humor and a lot of continuous sadness as well. It's earthy, hard-hitting and much different than prior Holocaust film projects, although the involved survivor was interviewed for "Schindler's List" by Steven Spielberg. It requires someone who can put together a fantastic script that will illustrate the survivor's life amply on the big screen, while remaining faithful as an adaptation.
The survivor's son is an internationally award-winning film producer and a screenwriter in his own right who simply feels too close to the subject matter to either write the script or produce the film himself. However, he has "insider" movie contacts and partners in Los Angeles, and he has a Florida production company lined up which is willing to produce the screenplay - if it is really well-written and reads appropriately.
The pay will be 15% of the main participant's total earnings from the film and its subsidiaries (except for the book). This project is a "labor of love," but it's expected to be produced for a reasonably low budget and to make some fairly substantial returns. So it should be lucrative enough for a really great screenwriter to produce a really great script.
Please contact me if you are interested in this and other screenplay writing projects with our company, and thank you for your time.
