Our winners have been signed by Literary Managers as a result of entering our competition!! Now in our ninth season, Write LA's 3 winners get read by multiple Los Angeles bases Literary Managers and considered for representation.
Semifinalists receive other prizes including notebooks and free feedback from our Head Judge - respected Script Coach and author Tim Schildberger.
Write LA was built by writers, for writers. We offer all the industry access we can because we know how hard it is to get your writing in front of the people who can launch your career. Write LA Announces New Literary Manager Partnerships
The Write LA Screenwriting Competition has announced that their 2021 Finalists will be read and considered by up to five leading Literary Management Companies: Circle of Confusion, Zero Gravity, Fourward, Fictional Entity and Grandview.
"Our goal at Write LA has always been to help writers get access to the Industry, and gain better command of their craft. So giving our finalists a direct shot at being considered for representation by these reputable, amazing management companies is the logical next step in our growth. It's also truly thrilling and exciting to do our best to help writers take a huge step in their journey, and we are very grateful to our Industry partners for the trust they're showing in our judging abilities," said Tim Schildberger - Co-Founder and Head Judge of the competition.
Last year's winner Nathan Dame was signed by Management Company Fourward as a result of entering Write LA.
