Shriekfest, the Los Angeles Horror/SciFi Film Festival continues its tradition as Los Angeles' Premier horror film event, presenting an exciting program of films each fall with beautiful Los Angeles as its backdrop. Now, in its 20th year, Shriekfest takes place at the legendary Raleigh Studios, which is the largest independent studio operator in the country. We offer filmmakers and film fans alike an ideal setting in a world-famous city. SHRIEKFEST draws in over 5,000 attendees each year. Both established and emerging filmmakers gain media exposure, connect with the region's diverse audiences, and participate in an acclaimed event attended by industry professionals as well as horror and scifi fans. A.K.A Shriekfest Call for Entries
A.K.A Shriekfest, the 3rd annual Los Angeles International Horror/Science Fiction Film Festival and SCREENPLAY Competition is currently accepting submissions in all categories. Awards (software, product awards, &/or cash awards) will be given in all categories. Early entry fee and date: March 21st $25.00 for shorts $35.00 features. Regular Entry fee & date: July 25 $35.00 for shorts $45.00 for features & late entry fee and date: Aug 22nd $45.00 shorts $55.00 features(prices are the same for the screenplays too). The festival takes place at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, CA. We also have young filmmaker categories (you must be under 18 to qualify). For more info and an entry form, go to www.shriekfest.com
