Tuesday, April 15, 2008Hello again! Here I am in the middle of the night...finally getting to update my site's address! It seems that a few of my domains have already forwarded to the site: http://rainbowwriter.net http://rainbowwriter.ca and if you have any problems connecting, just add good old www. before either of them. You'll arrive right here...same address as we started with.... http://www.writerbytes.com?rainbow If you have any friends in the biz who you think would compliment this site, feel free to email me for the okay to add them to this chain. Hey.. it's like I'm just 10 years old, and adding to that springtime chain of dandelions and/or daisies again! This time, it's my neck! Feels great! Vera ;-)

Hello again! Just discovered that several of my friends and contacts in my email were sent requests for this site to be connected by link to their own websites. If your site appears as a link and you would NOT want it there...please just email me at rainbowwriter@hotmail.com and I'll make sure it's corrected. For the many of you who have agreed to link your site to mine, THANK YOU! The name for the site has now been registered as Rainbowwriter.ca and will be changing as soon as the CIRA and my server have done their due diligence and made their connections. Probably by Tuesday the 15th, we'll have the new address working...just www.rainbowwriter.ca and http://rainbowwriter.ca might also work...I'm waiting to find out. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

WELCOME to R A I N B O W country, otherwise known as "Hollywood North" where the sun pierces through the showers creating rainbows everywhere. After 30 years on the Beautiful BC Coast, I've got used to the soggy winter rains that keep our trees and grass green virtually all year round. Thanks to the Writer's strike we missed out on sitting in a cold tent this winter, waiting to be called to Set on a current Film Production. The strike is over now and hopefully SAG and AFTRA will not go out. Bright blood-orange arrows point to production sites that will keep many of us busy over the summer and into the fall. It's SPRING at last! Millions of flowering trees line our streets, and soon will create pink and white showers of petals that stick to the car roof, sidewalks and seawall. LOVE THAT FRESH SEA AIR! This new site is still "under construction" and your patience is appreciated. In the meantime, enjoy the links--there'll be many more to come! To see what's happening here in the biz in Vancouver area, link onto the Film Production List link, click on the "pdf" version on the right side of the screen, which can be printed on 8.5 x 11 page at 50%. Want to talk about the Movie Biz, or Writing for TV or Film? Start a new topic on the Message Boards. Enjoy, Vera
