Author Bio: BRENT HARTINGER is a screenwriter, playwright, and novelist. A movie adaptation of his teen novel, GEOGRAPHY CLUB, was released theatrically and on VOD in 2013. It co-stars Scott Bakula and Ana Gasteyer.

Brent has had seven other projects optioned for film and currently has four movie projects in development.

In addition, Brent has won many screenwriting awards, including first place at the Storypro Awards, the Fresh Voices Screenwriting Contest, the Acclaim Scripts Screenwriting Contest, the L.A. Comedy Festival, the Screenwriting in the Sun Award, and a Writers Network Fellowship; he has also placed or been named a finalist in Scriptapalooza, Creative World, and the Contest of Contest Winners. All his scripts on have been "featured scripts," with scores of "8" or higher.

Brent has also published eight novels with major publishers, including HarperCollins and Tor, and his plays have been produced nationwide, twice in New York.
