Cheryl Farr is a screenwriter from Shelton, Washington. She is a ScreenwritingU graduate, and has a Bachelor of Arts from Washington State University in Liberal Arts.
She has written an historical dramatic short, “Song of War” which was a quarterfinalist in the 2005 PAGE International Screenwriting Competition. This short is now in development as a feature film. Another short, this time a parody of the Snow White fairy tale titled “Awakening,” was a finalist at the 2010 Yosemite Film Festival, and won Honorable Mention in the IndieProducers “Animate Your Project” contest.
The supernatural romance, “So Incompatible With Life” won second place in the 2011 Holiday Screenwriting Competition, and received an Award of Merit from the 2012 Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood.
Cheryl has a published Young Adult novel, “Forrest Tales: The Secret of the Labyrinth,” (under the pseudonym Rhianna) and is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators and a member of Women in Film in Seattle.
