Color Me Crooked

This is the true story of the meteoric rise and the catastrophic fall of the mayor of the City of Fall River Massachusetts, Jasiel Correia. He was elected at only 21 years old. In less than 6 years, he went from what some called The Boy Wonder to corruption kingpin. He stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from seven people that invested in his bogus smartphone app to fund his lavish lifestyle. He bought a Mercedes Benz for himself and his girlfriend, paid off student loans and credit cards, spent thousands on vacations, restaurants, clothing, dating services and adult entertainment as well as extravagant gifts for his girlfriend. Then he went on to extort hundreds of thousands of dollars from area businessmen looking to set up marijuana dispensaries in the city. Correia was arrested twice while Mayor, brought to trial and eventually convicted of 21 Federal corruption charges. This is his story.
