LATEST NEWS. Today (13 January 2025), I have completed a revision of Kuga's Way, my only TV/streaming pilot.

I have now completed revising all my 13 scripts (12 screenplays and one pilot).

I have started half-a-dozen screenplays, but there isn't that self-energising force with which to move the stories except at a snail's pace. Without the self-energising force, it's all about contrivance and contrivance is stilted, hard-labour storytelling.

I have now completed revising all my 13 scripts (12 screenplays and one pilot).

I have started half-a-dozen screenplays, but there isn't that self-energising force with which to move the stories except at a snail's pace. Without the self-energising force, it's all about contrivance and contrivance is stilted, hard-labour storytelling. Self-energising on the other hand is about the story having that kind of momentum that tells itself: I as the writer appear to be a mere conduit.

THE FUTURE. Just keep writing and during the hard labour and perspiration may come the spark that ignites long-sustaining inspiration.

MY STORY AS A SCREENWRITER

I became a hobbyist screenwriter in 2007 when I purchased version 7 of Final Draft. I’ve since completed 12 screenplays and one pilot for TV or for a streaming service.
