Watertight
The year is 1935 and a freak accident finds a young woman trapped by old wooden pilings running from the beach out to sea. The tide is coming in and initial rescue attempts by untrained but enthusiastic bystanders are futile. Frustration and hysteria mount when it is learnt that there is no breathing apparatus available and the local emergency services are hampered by restricted weekend working. As both water and tension rise we start to learn more about the lives, attitudes, and aspirations of some of the players in this life and death struggle.UK wri
