Synopsis

Set in New York City 2029, involves former FBI Agent Winston James. Recently, Winston has been released from serving a twenty-year jail sentence for stealing money at a drug raid to acquire the funds to pay for an experimental medical treatment for his dying wife. . After his release, Winston struggles to adjust to the new world he has returned too. He starts to notice peculiar differences in the people he used to know and trust. His suspicions are heightened when he has a strange encounter with a beautiful woman on the subway. While admiring the woman’s beauty, he notices the skin on the side of her face appears to be drooping towards her jaw. Quickly he wipes his eyes; stares at the woman again, but only to notice the woman’s face is normal. Later, Winston informs his best friend Bobby of the incident on the subway car. Bobby dismisses the incident by offering that Winston’s mind is playing tricks on him, caused most likely by being incarcerated for such an extended period and even perhaps over the guilt of his wife passing away while in prison.

Reluctantly Winston accepts the explanation offered by his best friend, yet he is still convinced about what he saw on the subway car. Days later Winston has another bizarre encounter with a man on the street that he swore he killed in a drug raid, twenty years earlier. Winston knows something odd is occurring, yet as his suspicions start to grow, he is not even aware that he is being watched.

Finally, Winston’s suspicions are going to be confirmed one night while watching the evening news. He sees a story about a missing woman that has been found, yet shockingly he recognizes the lady as a person who died in his arms in an abandon alley under bizarre circumstances. This compels Winston to reach out to a former colleague; Belinda, to investigate his suspicions regarding the woman and the other strange occurrences that have happen to him since being released from prison.

Belinda frightened by Winston’s revelations agrees to help him. She provides him with information that he uses to investigate his suspicions and what the former FBI Agent discovers, will lead him into an extraordinary life and death struggle in a race against time to save mankind.

I grew up in Dayton, Ohio, United States of America. I am one of three siblings and in fact, I have an identical twin brother. I was born with a medical disability, but I never allowed my disability to define who I am. Growing up I loved hanging out with my friends, family, and just getting into all sorts of crazy nonsense. These childhood memories and struggles have shaped my imagination and gave me focus on becoming a writer.
