REFLECTION

HEADS YOU LOSE AND TAILS YOU DIE.

A serious of mysterious murders of prominent Gay women have the city of New York on edge. There seems to be no clues left of the crime scenes, and no visible connection to the murdered women.

Detective Stephanie Powers and her partner Mark Lazarus are the lead investigators assigned to these baffling murders. Stephanie being a gay woman herself, is particularly on edge, and is determined to bring this killer to justice.

Meanwhile as the body count continues to rise, the citizens of this great city demand answers and eventually request Federal intervention. Stephanie and Mark are opposed to the Feds taking over the case, because they believe the killer is possibly one of their own, yet because of pressures from the public the Feds are brought in, despite their reservations.

Special Agent Patricia Sweat assigned to the case starts to investigate and her suspicions lead her to believe that Stephanie is the killer they have been looking for all along. Stephanie unaware of Patricia’s suspicions continues to investigate the murders, yet with each murder Stephanie starts to have flashbacks of a troubling past.

Eventually Patricia makes a connection to Stephanie and a recent murdered victim from a security tape and evidence found in Stephanie’s apartment substantiates Patricia’s suspicion. Stephanie is arrested and the city hales the FBI Agent as a heroine to the city.

Stephanie insists that the woman on the security video is not her and the evidence at her home was planted, yet no one in her department believes her, except Mark, who is determined to prove her innocence.

Meanwhile, people connected to Stephanie’s past seek out Mark. Their unbelievable revelations will reveal a darker truth about Stephanie’s life, which will leave the unsuspecting city in a grip of fear.

Writer’s Statement

(Imagine the impossible, dream the impossible, and always believe in the impossible.)

I grew up in Dayton, Ohio, United States of America. I am one of three siblings and in fact, I have an identical twin brother. I was born with a medical disability, but I never allowed my disability to define who I am. Growing up I loved hanging out with my friends, family, and just getting into all sorts of crazy nonsense. These childhood memories and struggles have shaped my imagination and gave me focus on becoming a writer.
