The Hidden Compromise

An Algerian student is detained by French police on terrorism charges and agrees to work with them as an informant on other ISIS members, but his act of compromise forces him to face false and outdated beliefs while considering weighty theological questions with powerful implications on world events.

Sid Ahmed is a student residing in France who is detained on terrorism charges after the murder of a Catholic priest involved with interfaith work between Christians and Muslims in the community. Gerard, a French detective, investigates the case and gets to know Sid, visiting him in prison and convincing him to act as an informant. In the process, Gerard confronts his own beliefs and assumptions to prevent future attacks as he delves into theology and the history of French-Algerian relations.
