Head Games
A desperate woman with the ability to make people believe they're seeing things that aren't there uses her ability on the people she believes are responsible for her sister’s murder.
While hiding, Maddy watches Tommy murder Pete and then uses a special ability that she has to make people believe they are seeing things that aren’t there. This allows her to escape. Panicked, she goes to her sister’s home, Sarah.
Tommy wants to eliminate Maddy and he hires an assassin, Alex. He’s a cold-blooded killer. Alex mistakes Sarah for Maddy and kills her.
Maddy rushes to Sarah’s home and she finds Sarah. She’s dying. Maddy uses her ability to let Sarah die in peace as if she’s dreaming.
Maddy turns to her boyfriend Steve Coombs (20s) for help. She tells him about her special abilities and demonstrates them. She explains she hasn’t used her abilities to “push” others to see things that aren’t there since she was a teenager. Her father never approved of her ability and left the family. Her mother blamed her. Later, she found her mother dead. She promised to protect her sister but she wasn’t able to.
Now, Maddy wants to go after Tommy and her sister’s killer. She can’t go to the police because Tommy has connections with them. Steve agrees to help her.
However, Alex comes after both Maddy and Steve. Steve crashes the car and Maddy is injured. At the hospital, Steve discovers that Maddy is pregnant with his child. Steve is thrilled. The doctor warns Steve that stress could cause a miscarriage.
At the hospital, Alex, dressed up like a nurse, tries to attack Maddy but she uses her abilities again to stop him. She nearly kills him until Steve interrupts her and Alex flees.
Maddy and Steve hide out at Sarah’s house where they plot their next move. Her focus is to make those responsible for her sister’s death pay.
Alex goes after Maddy again. Maddy gets the opportunity to use her mind control and tortures him with his greatest fear – rats. Terrified, Alex runs away but runs right into a truck.
Maddy finds Alex’s cell phone and pays someone to hack into it. She hears a message from Tommy and selects last number called. Maddy arranges to meet Tommy at his warehouse.
When she arrives, his thugs search her for any weapons and a wire. She’s clean. She has a conversation with Tommy. All she wants is for him to leave Steve alone. Tommy has his men escort Maddy out. He wants her eliminated, but, once again, Maddy uses her ability to trick Tommy’s henchmen. They kill Sly, Tommy’s brother, thinking he’s a cop, and then the men turn their guns on each other. They shoot one another.
Steve comes home and can’t find Maddy but he finds her phone and directions to the warehouse. He takes off.
Tommy watches on a monitor. He doesn’t understand what’s going on. Tommy goes after Maddy. Maddy experiences stomach pains. She could be having a miscarriage. Steve bursts into the warehouse but is shot. Tommy is about to shoot Maddy when she uses her abilities to make him believe a dog is attacking him. While he’s distracted, she knocks him out cold. She thinks about killing Tommy but she changes her mind. She’s not a killer. The courts will take care of him.
Months later, Maddy and Steve stand by Sarah’s grave with a baby girl, Sarah. Maddy feels at peace and soon discovers she and baby Sarah have a telepathic connection. That night Maddy goes to the hospital where Alex is on life support. She opens his eyes and his heart begins to race. He’s swarmed by an endless sea of rats.
