ANGELSKIN

A brutal serial killer is on the loose pursued by seasoned detective John Harris. When he finds evidence suggesting a killer that might not be even be human, but a fallen angel, a lot more might be at stake - even the end of God, heaven, and the world itself!

A fierce battle between angels and demons is waged in the desert. The angels are victorious. The scene shifts to The Boss’s office. He is a God character reminiscent of Donald Trump who meets with his archangels to sign their new contract. It is only when the human receptionist, Lucy Harper, leaves the meeting room that the angels can remove their suit jackets and reveal the full span of their wings and their magnificence. One of the angels, Max, challenges the new contract. Max requests that the Boss transfer his dominion over a few Middle Eastern countries to him. The Boss quickly rebukes Max with backing from archangel Gabriel. Another archangel, Michael, reveals to the Boss that he found an email written by Max, which indicates a mutiny. The Boss confronts Max about this and Max lies to him about his loyalty. At the same time, on the Earth, Paul Rodriguez is released from prison due to new DNA evidence in his case. Detective John Harris, Paul’s mentor, meets him at the prison gate. Paul settles into his new life, living at a halfway house and gaining employment. All is well until Paul is mugged and seriously injured by two thugs while he walks home from work. Detective Harris visits Paul in the hospital. While working in his office The Boss is interrupted by the mutinous angels, led by Max. Betrayed by Lucy, who was bribed by Max, The Boss starts to weaken. This is because Lucy gave Max access to some forbidden mystical volumes, which contain spells for removing divine beings of their power. Max’s minions kill Lucy, and attempt to kill Roland, another good archangel, when he shields The Boss from the evil angels. Soon, Michael and the other good archangels arrive at the scene to save The Boss and Roland. Max, the traitor, faces trial for his actions. Max is “fired” and cast out of Heaven. His toxic angel wings separate from him as he falls to Earth on his way down to Hell. Paul is awakened by the noise when Max falls and goes outside. Paul finds the toxic wings and they become part of him, attaching to his arm. Paul takes his revenge, first killing the thugs who mugged him and then targeting George Sanchez, one of John’s fellow detectives, who wrongly sent him to prison. George’s body is found at the bottom of the police station steps with a wing carved into his chest. In Heaven, the Boss discovers a revelation in a mystical book: That the Evil One should be cast out in his entirety – without any physical evidence left behind. And, if this is not the case the End of Times will occur quickly. The Boss sends Michael and Gabriel to Earth to bring Max’s toxic wings back to Heaven. Serious tremors and meteor showers begin on Earth. Paul continues killing. John’s boss insists that they find the killer whom the media has called about the “Angelwing” killer. John starts to suspect Paul of being the killer after interviewing his friends about his comings and goings and observing his new, paranoid, often violent behavior. Paul's kidnapping of his pregnant girlfriend, Sophie, and the murder of her uncle, Sandy, prove that Paul is completely insane and consumed by the evil wings. Paul knows he will be caught soon (after leaving Sandy's body in his room at the halfway house) and tries to run John over in his car. The angels save John, pushing him and his partner to safety.

John and Brian find Sandy's body, along with a notebook of all the other killings and the location of Paul's torture rooms. They find Sophie while she is being waterboarded by Paul, and Paul holds a knife to her throat. Brian shoots Paul in the leg and he is arrested.

Paul is convicted of all the “Angelwing” murders and executed by lethal injection. Gabriel and Michael are present at his execution and retrieve the toxic wings. They accompany Paul to Heaven, since he was an innocent possessed by evil against his will. In Heaven, Paul takes Max’s place in the heavenly host of angels. After meeting the Boss, he questions the current archangel contract.
