Author Bio: I graduated from Berkeley with a degree in English. My fiction has been published in Epoch (Cornell University), Prism International (University of British Columbia, Vancouver), Cimarron Review, Hobart, Word Riot, In Posse Review, Storyglossia, The Summerset Review, and others.

My novella, "A Season of Turbulence" was published in print last year in The Conium Review.

I was hired to write the film, "Murder in Fashion," which played at several festivals and theaters in 2010 and was reviewed in the NY Times and L.A. Times. I consider it an embarrassment.

My short story was a winner of the Eric Hoffer Prose Competition from over two thousand entries, and appeared in the anthology, Best New Writing 2011. It also won a fellowship to a writing seminar in St. Petersburg, Russia, sponsored by Walrus Magazine.

My screenplay, "The Dressmaker's Daughter," was a top ten finalist in the 2010 Bruce Geller Screenwriting Competition.

I adapted the book, "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye: The Barbara Payton Story," by John O'Dowd.

My short story "Light Fingers" and the screenplay based on it have been optioned by director Brad Furman ("The Lincoln Lawyer" and "Runner, Runner").
